A company is listed here when it meets at least one of the same applicability conditions as the company at the top of the page. Those conditions are computed from published fields, so the list changes when the fields change and never because somebody paid for a place in it.

The order is by the number of applicability conditions a company shares with the company at the top of the page, then by the number of verified reviews it has on external review platforms, then alphabetically by name. No position here is paid for and none of it is an editorial score.

No company in this table has a value recorded for these fields: Onboarding, Crowd tester pool. Those cells are empty because no source recorded the value, and an empty cell is not a statement that the company lacks the property.
The lowest published floor on this page, and what sits above it
BugRaptors publishes a minimum project size of 1,000 US dollars, from its Clutch profile. QA Madness publishes the same 1,000-dollar minimum. SHIFT ASIA publishes a minimum project size of 5,000 dollars, five times BugRaptors' floor. QualityLogic, ScienceSoft, DeviQA and QA Wolf each publish the same 5,000-dollar minimum. QASource publishes a 25,000-dollar minimum, twenty-five times BugRaptors' floor, the widest gap among the eight candidates. Abstracta publishes no minimum project size at all. One candidate on this page, QA Madness, publishes a floor equal to BugRaptors' own; six publish a floor above it, from 5,000 to 25,000 dollars; and one publishes none at all.
Where headquarters and client stage focus diverge
BugRaptors is headquartered in Mohali, India. None of the eight candidates is headquartered in India. Five are headquartered in the United States: QualityLogic, QASource, Abstracta, ScienceSoft and QA Wolf. DeviQA and QA Madness are headquartered in Warsaw, Poland. SHIFT ASIA is headquartered in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. BugRaptors' published profile names enterprise as its only client stage. Among the eight candidates, four also name enterprise alongside startup: QualityLogic, QASource, ScienceSoft and QA Madness. Abstracta names enterprise alone, matching BugRaptors' single stage. SHIFT ASIA, QA Wolf and DeviQA publish no client stage at all. An enterprise focus is published by five of the eight candidates and by BugRaptors itself; a startup focus is published by four of the eight and by none of BugRaptors' own fields.
Where the published case studies report different kinds of evidence
BugRaptors' published case studies report average API response time, error rate under load, maximum concurrent users handled, test suite coverage, critical bugs reaching production per month, and regression cycle completion time. Across these metrics, BugRaptors' own published evidence covers latency, throughput, defect escape and regression time. Abstracta's published case studies report a peak-capacity throughput figure, from 2,800 to 7,000 virtual users per hour, alongside an 80% decrease in maximum response time, a latency figure, from its BBVA case study. DeviQA's published case studies report regression-time, coverage, release-frequency and device-coverage figures, but none of them reports a latency figure. QASource's published case studies report a throughput figure, a 40% increase in daily cancer tests completed, but no latency or regression-time figure. SHIFT ASIA's published case studies report throughput, defect and coverage figures but no latency or regression-time figure either. A buyer weighing evidence for a performance-testing engagement finds a latency figure inside BugRaptors' published case studies and inside Abstracta's, but not inside QASource's, SHIFT ASIA's or DeviQA's published case studies.
Where published service lists and confirmed compliance paperwork diverge
None of the eight candidates publishes as many services as BugRaptors: the widest count among them is ScienceSoft's 15, followed by QA Madness's 12, DeviQA's 11 and QASource's 10. Abstracta lists 7, QualityLogic and SHIFT ASIA list 6 each, and QA Wolf lists 2. On compliance paperwork, BugRaptors confirms neither a BAA nor a GDPR data processing agreement. Among the eight candidates, QA Wolf is the only one that confirms a GDPR data processing agreement, and none of the eight confirms a BAA. Across the nine companies on this page, one confirmed data processing agreement stands against eight unconfirmed fields, and no confirmed BAA stands anywhere.

Questions
- We need native mobile automation, not only browsers. Do the alternatives name a tool for it?
- All but one of the alternatives name a tool for native mobile apps. BugRaptors names four automation tools, and all four drive a browser: Selenium, WebdriverIO, Cypress and Playwright. Seven candidates add Appium, a cross-platform framework for native and hybrid mobile apps, and two of those seven also name Espresso and XCUITest, the platform-native tools for Android and for iOS. The eighth publishes no framework list at all. A named tool records that a company works with it and says nothing about how much of its work runs there.
- BugRaptors publishes five ways of structuring the work. Do the alternatives offer that much choice?
- No alternative publishes five models. Two candidates publish three models each, two publish two, three publish one and one publishes none at all. Between them the eight name a dedicated team, staff augmentation, managed testing service, project work and on-demand testing. Two of the five models on the subject's own profile, time and materials and crowdtesting, turn up on none of the eight. A buyer who wants to start on one model and move to another later finds the widest published choice on the subject's own profile.
- BugRaptors is recorded as a subsidiary. Does that change who we would be contracting with, and do the alternatives differ?
- Ownership changes who controls the contract rather than what is sold. Seven of the eight candidates are recorded as independent companies, and one carries the same subsidiary status the subject does. Ownership appears in no service list, no engagement model and no framework list, so it never changes what a profile offers. What it does say is that a decision about a contract can sit above the company a buyer is talking to, and that this is on record for two of the nine companies compared here.

The rule behind this list and the basis of its order are on the methodology page. Every fact about a company comes from a listed source. A field without a source stays empty. A certificate counts as confirmed only when a registry, certificate or auditor report backs it; a certificate the company only claims about itself is published separately, under that label. Vendors can request a correction at hello@qa-rating.com. A correction is applied when it comes with a public source.
