QA Rating

Luxe Quality vs QAlified

QA Rating is published independently, and its publisher owns no company listed in this catalog.

Luxe Quality meets the conditions for Nearshore for the EU; QAlified meets the conditions for Nearshore for the USA. The catalog has Client stages, Minimum project only for Luxe Quality, and Engagement models only for QAlified. Neither publishes Certificates, Signs a BAA / GDPR DPA, Onboarding, Crowd tester pool, Device lab, so the table cannot answer those.

Who each one fits

Luxe Quality's catalog stretches across kinds of products that share little with each other, built for a buyer moving between them rather than settling into a long engagement. QAlified's published case work sits at the other end: an open earth-data platform built for NASA VEDA and a DevOps tool for Liquibase, sustained work on the same codebase over time. A buyer weighing how a vendor sits inside a long-running roadmap, beyond what it can test, arrives at this pair for that reason.

That is the question Luxe Quality's page leaves standing. How the work is bought, whether as a fixed scope closed on delivery, a retainer that renews, or people embedded in a team that already exists, decides whether a vendor can be kept on a roadmap at all, and a buyer scoping against a multi-quarter plan has to settle it before scoping anything else. The shape also sets who carries knowledge between releases: embedded people keep it, a closed project hands it back in a document. Ask on the first call which shape is on offer and what it costs to change mid-engagement, then get the answer into the contract, because that is where it becomes enforceable.

A tag is attached when the company's published fields meet its condition, never by judgement. Both lists come from the same closed vocabulary, so a tag missing from one side means the condition was not met, not that nobody looked.

Both meet the conditions for Automation first, so those conditions do not separate them.

Where the data runs out

Completeness against the 14 fields of the comparison checklist is 79% for Luxe Quality and 79% for QAlified. A field is counted as filled when a source confirms it, so a gap means nobody published it.

Neither company has a value recorded for these fields: Certificates, Signs a BAA / GDPR DPA, Onboarding, Crowd tester pool, Device lab. The table shows those rows empty rather than estimating them.

Field definitions and the completeness checklist are on the methodology page. The sources behind each field are listed on the Luxe Quality profile and the QAlified profile.

Questions

Does either company's published profile state a position on signing a BAA or a GDPR DPA?
Luxe Quality's published profile states no position on signing a BAA or a GDPR DPA, checked 2 September 2026. QAlified's published profile states no position on signing a BAA or a GDPR DPA, checked 2 September 2026. This field normally tells a buyer handling protected health data or EU personal data whether a data-processing agreement is available before a contract is drafted. Without it, a buyer in either case has to ask the vendor directly and get a written answer added to the contract rather than assuming one is standard.
What hourly rate does each company's published profile list?
Luxe Quality's published Clutch profile lists a blended hourly rate of $25-$49, checked 2 September 2026. QAlified's published Clutch profile lists the same blended range of $25-$49, checked 2 September 2026. The overlap means the rate on its own does not separate a McLean-based team from a Montevideo-based one on cost. A buyer shortlisting by price still needs to compare delivery location and services, since the published range reads identically on either profile.

Every fact about a company comes from a listed source. A field without a source stays empty. A certificate counts as confirmed only when a registry, certificate or auditor report backs it; a certificate the company only claims about itself is published separately, under that label. Vendors can request a correction at hello@qa-rating.com. A correction is applied when it comes with a public source.
