Engagement models next to TestFort's dedicated team and managed testing
TestFort publishes two engagement models, dedicated team and managed testing service. Seven of the eight candidates on this page publish dedicated team as one of their own models: Testlio, DeviQA, QA Madness, QASource, a1qa, QAwerk and SnoopGame. QATestLab is the only one of the eight that does not list dedicated team; its own list holds managed testing service and staff augmentation instead. Managed testing service appears on three of the eight candidate profiles: DeviQA, a1qa and QATestLab. DeviQA and a1qa are the only two candidates whose lists cover both of TestFort's models at once, and each adds a further model beyond that pair: DeviQA adds staff augmentation, and a1qa adds staff augmentation and project work together. Four of the eight publish project work, a fixed-scope arrangement absent from TestFort's own list: QA Madness, a1qa, QAwerk and SnoopGame. Testlio is the only one of the eight that publishes crowdtesting. SnoopGame is the only one of the eight that publishes time and materials. QASource is the only one of the eight that publishes on-demand testing.
Minimum project size floors from $1,000 to $25,000 among the eight
TestFort publishes a minimum project size of $10,000. All eight candidates on this page publish a minimum project size of their own, so every entry can be read against TestFort's floor. Two match it exactly, at $10,000 each: a1qa and QAwerk. Two sit below it at $5,000, half of TestFort's floor: DeviQA and QATestLab. Two sit at $1,000, a tenth of TestFort's floor: QA Madness and SnoopGame. QASource publishes $25,000, two and a half times TestFort's floor. Testlio publishes $75,000, the highest floor on this page and seven and a half times TestFort's own. A buyer with a project budget under $10,000 finds four of the eight candidates whose published minimum allows it.
The topics the published case material addresses
TestFort's own case material addresses password manager Dashlane, load and performance work for LuxiEdge, a data platform engagement, an AI-powered recovery wearable, and an Odoo-based ERP system. Testlio's case material addresses streaming QA for Hallmark+, payment testing for BitPay and for Solidgate, real-device testing for Rush Street Interactive, and biometric release testing for iProov. DeviQA's case material addresses an accounts payable automation platform, a glucose monitoring system for Abbott Laboratories, a real estate platform for Compass, case-management software for Arklign, and a booking platform for Xola. a1qa's case material addresses AI-powered test automation for a retail client, DevOps and test automation for an international mobile operator association, and QA support for a US-based home appliance manufacturer. QAwerk's case material addresses cross-platform testing for Unfold, now acquired by Squarespace, regression and smoke testing for Evolv, and functional and regression testing for ClickHouse. QATestLab's case material addresses a portal for the American College of Radiology and load testing for Cherrybrook Premium Pet Supplies Shop. QA Madness's case material addresses e-commerce testing for Isadora Digital Agency and testing for a mental health support application. SnoopGame's case material addresses the games Stellaris, SpongeBob: Krusty Cook-Off and House of Fun, a casino slots title. QASource's case material addresses a cancer diagnostics provider's migration from a legacy CRM to Salesforce.
Founding years and team-size bands next to TestFort's own
TestFort was founded in 2001. QASource is the only one of the eight candidates founded earlier, in 2000, one year before TestFort. The other seven were founded after TestFort: a1qa in 2003, QATestLab in 2005, DeviQA in 2010, Testlio in 2012, QA Madness in 2013, and QAwerk and SnoopGame both in 2015, the most recent founding year on this page. Founding years across all nine profiles on this page run from 2000 to 2015, a span of fifteen years.
Team size follows a different pattern. Four of the eight candidates report the same team-size band as TestFort. The other four each report a larger band: one reports 201 to 500 people, one reports 501 to 1,000, and two report 1,000 people or more, the largest band on this page.

Questions
- Our test estate is an ERP. Does any alternative cover that kind of system?
- No alternative lists ERP testing as a service. TestFort is the only profile among the nine compared here that names it. The same profile is the only one whose published tool list names SAP. Two alternatives name a packaged business platform in that field, and in both cases the platform is Salesforce. Every other published tool list here is made up of test automation and load testing tools alone.
- Insurance and logistics are our two verticals. How many alternatives name them?
- Insurance is named by one of the eight alternatives. Logistics is named by two. Both sit at the narrow end of what the eight cover. Games is named by five. Healthcare is named by six. Ecommerce is also named by six. A buyer who needs insurance named on the profile is choosing from a single published match here.
- We are an education platform, a sector our current vendor does not list. Does that rule the alternatives out too?
- The sector missing from the subject's own list is the one the alternatives cover most widely. Education is named by six of the eight alternatives. Travel is named by four. SaaS is named by three. None of those three sectors appears on TestFort's own industry list. An unnamed sector on one profile settles nothing about how widely the sector is covered on the others.

The rule behind this list and the basis of its order are on the methodology page. Every fact about a company comes from a listed source. A field without a source stays empty. A certificate counts as confirmed only when a registry, certificate or auditor report backs it; a certificate the company only claims about itself is published separately, under that label. Vendors can request a correction at hello@qa-rating.com. A correction is applied when it comes with a public source.
