Whose hardware carries the test
Device lab coverage reaches PLUS QA and iXie Gaming on a condition that asks for a published lab of real devices generally, with no requirement that the lab be built around headsets specifically. Automation first reaches QAwerk, Frugal Testing and Codoid, and its condition asks for a published case study with a coverage or regression metric, run on whatever product the case study happens to cover. Crowdtesting at scale reaches Applause alone, and its condition runs on a tester pool rather than a lab the vendor owns: Applause's own published pool stands at 1,500,000 people who bring their own hardware to the job.
For a product that ships on a headset or one specific handset model, these three tags point to three different places a test actually runs: a lab the vendor owns, an automation framework driving a build with no device named, or a pool of testers on hardware nobody at the vendor controls.
