The companies
A company is listed here when it meets at least one of the same applicability conditions as the company at the top of the page. Those conditions are computed from published fields, so the list changes when the fields change and never because somebody paid for a place in it.

The order is by the number of applicability conditions a company shares with the company at the top of the page, then by the number of verified reviews it has on external review platforms, then alphabetically by name. No position here is paid for and none of it is an editorial score.

No company in this table has a value recorded for these fields: Crowd tester pool. Those cells are empty because no source recorded the value, and an empty cell is not a statement that the company lacks the property.
Engagement models QualityLogic does not publish
QualityLogic publishes two engagement models: staff augmentation and managed testing. QATestLab publishes the same two and nothing else, the only candidate whose published set matches QualityLogic's exactly. Two candidates publish a narrower set: SHIFT ASIA publishes staff augmentation alone, and ScienceSoft publishes managed testing alone. Two candidates publish everything QualityLogic does and more: BugRaptors adds project work, time and materials and crowdtesting on top of managed testing and staff augmentation; DeviQA adds dedicated team on top of managed testing and staff augmentation. QASource publishes on-demand testing only, sharing neither of QualityLogic's two models. Two candidates publish no engagement model at all: Abstracta and QA Wolf. A buyer who needs a fixed-scope project has one named candidate, BugRaptors, and no matching published model at QualityLogic itself.
Minimum project size sets a different floor for two candidates
QualityLogic sets a minimum project size of $5,000. Seven of the eight candidates publish a minimum project size, and one, Abstracta, does not state one. Five of the seven publish the same $5,000 floor as QualityLogic: DeviQA, QATestLab, SHIFT ASIA, ScienceSoft and QA Wolf. QASource sets a higher floor of $25,000, the highest published minimum on this page. BugRaptors sets a lower floor of $1,000, the lowest published minimum among the eight. A buyer working with a project under $5,000 has one named option, BugRaptors, and no matching published floor at QualityLogic itself.
Framework lists and data-handling status side by side
QualityLogic names nine frameworks, the highest count among all nine companies on this page. Seven of the eight candidates name at least one framework: QASource and QATestLab name eight each, ScienceSoft names six, DeviQA names five, BugRaptors names four, and Abstracta and QA Wolf name two each. SHIFT ASIA is the only candidate that names none. On data-handling commitments, QualityLogic has neither a confirmed BAA signature nor a confirmed GDPR DPA on file, the same status as seven of the eight candidates. QA Wolf is the only candidate with a confirmed GDPR DPA on file, and no company on this page, including QualityLogic, has a confirmed BAA signature on file.

Questions
- Our project is moving an existing automated suite off one framework onto another. Has anyone published a case like it?
- One published case describes exactly that work, and it is QualityLogic's own: a Protractor suite converted to Playwright, with 18,000 lines of test code moved in fifteen hours against an estimated 460 hours by hand. No case published by any of the eight alternatives describes moving a suite between frameworks. The alternatives' cases describe building coverage that was not there, cutting regression time, and load and performance work. A migration is the one shape of engagement with published evidence on one side of the comparison only.
- Who would we actually be contracting with? Does the ownership field settle that?
- The ownership field records a structure and not a parent name. Six of the eight alternatives are recorded as independent companies. Two are recorded as subsidiaries, and no parent company is named for either of those two. A subsidiary entry therefore says the contracting entity sits inside a larger group without saying which group it is. Answering that question takes a source outside this catalog.
- Energy and utilities is our sector, telecom is our second. Is there published case evidence in either one among the alternatives?
- No case published by the eight alternatives sits in energy and utilities. No case published by them sits in telecom either. Healthcare carries the most published case evidence, appearing in cases from five of the eight alternatives. Ecommerce appears in cases from two of the eight. SaaS appears in cases from two of the eight as well. Banking, fintech, real estate, travel and education each appear in a case from one alternative.

The rule behind this list and the basis of its order are on the methodology page. Every fact about a company comes from a listed source. A field without a source stays empty. A certificate counts as confirmed only when a registry, certificate or auditor report backs it; a certificate the company only claims about itself is published separately, under that label. Vendors can request a correction at hello@qa-rating.com. A correction is applied when it comes with a public source.
