Best Cypress QA companies in 2026

QA Rating is published independently, and its publisher owns no company listed in this catalog.

19 testing companies in this catalog list Cypress among the frameworks and tools they work with. They are grouped below by what each is best suited for, in 9 groups. 2 of them hold a certificate confirmed by a register entry and 14 publish a rate card. Composition and order last changed on September 6, 2026.
19 companies. Ordered by the number of verified reviews on external platforms, highest first. Companies with an equal count are ordered by name.

Automation first and the four tags that sit inside it

Automation first covers 11 of the 19 companies in this composition, the largest group on this page. Four narrower tags never appear without it: every company holding Embedded team model, Security focus, Device lab coverage or Regulated industries also carries Automation first, a pattern that holds across all eight companies split between those four tags. DeviQA carries five tags, more than any other company in this composition, combining Automation first with Embedded team model, Device lab coverage, Security focus and Nearshore for the EU. QA Madness, QASource, a1qa and BetterQA each carry four tags, the next-widest spread in the composition.

Two nearshore tags and Performance engineering split from Automation first

Nearshore for the EU reaches 8 of the 19 companies, but two of them, AskYourQA and Qytera Quality GmbH, hold it without Automation first: a qualifying delivery location is enough on its own, independent of whether automation is offered as a service. Nearshore for the USA shows the same split: of its 3 holders, QASource and a1qa also carry Automation first, while ILoveMyQA holds only the delivery-location tag. Performance engineering follows the same pattern: of its 4 holders, QualityLogic, QASource and BugRaptors also carry Automation first, while Qytera Quality GmbH does not. a1qa is the only company on this page holding both nearshore tags at once.

The three smallest groups turn on a single condition each

Device lab coverage matches 2 of the 19 companies, DeviQA and QualityLogic: both publish a device lab of 100 real devices or more, with a source, the bar this tag checks. Fast onboarding matches one company, CHEQ Systems, the only profile in this composition with a published onboarding time of 14 days or less backed by a source. Regulated industries also matches one company, BetterQA, which holds two of the four certificates the condition counts toward its total, ISO/IEC 27001 and ISO 13485, plus a third certificate, ISO 9001, that this condition does not count.

Four companies meet no condition on this page

Lotus Quality Assurance, Testrig Technologies, iBeta Quality Assurance and Coderio carry none of the nine tags checked here. iBeta holds a confirmed certificate, ISO/IEC 17025, but that standard falls outside the four the Regulated industries condition names, so it does not count toward that tag. Across the full composition, a confirmed certificate appears for only 2 of the 19 companies, BetterQA and iBeta between them; the other 17 profiles carry no confirmed certificate on this page. A missing tag records what a public profile does not state. It does not rank one company against the other eighteen on this page. The methodology page lists the condition behind every tag on this axis, together with the fields each one checks.

How this ranking was put together

Membership is computed from the profile, not chosen: companies appear here when they list Cypress among the frameworks and tools they work with, as their own profile states. Position in a ranking cannot be bought. Paid options are limited to the extended profile, labelled sponsor slots and lead forms, and none of them affect tags or order.

The table compares the fields that decide this axis: case studies, published rates, team size, plus the number of verified reviews on external platforms. Rates, minimum project size and onboarding time carry the source they came from next to the value.

  • Automation first: Test automation is offered as a service, and at least one published case study reports a coverage or regression time metric.
  • Nearshore for the EU: At least one delivery location in the EU or the EEA, or in Ukraine, Georgia, Serbia or Moldova.
  • Embedded team model: The dedicated team engagement model is offered, and at least one published case study.
  • Performance engineering: Performance testing is offered as a service, and at least one published case study reports a throughput or latency metric.
  • Nearshore for the USA: At least one delivery location in Canada, Mexico, Central America or South America.
  • Security focus: Security testing is offered, together with either penetration testing or a verified ISO/IEC 27001 certificate, and at least one published case study.
  • Device lab coverage: A published device lab of 100 real devices or more, with a source.
  • Fast onboarding: A published onboarding time of 14 days or less, with a source.
  • Regulated industries: At least two verified certificates from ISO 13485, HITRUST CSF, PCI QSA and ISO/IEC 27001.

The criteria for this axis are on the methodology page, together with field definitions and the rule for editorial order. Changes of order are recorded in the changelog.

Questions

Does listing Cypress in a company's frameworks field say anything about how large or how established the automated suite they would take over or build is?
Naming Cypress in the frameworks field means a company states it works with the tool. The field is a list of names, not a record of test count or of how long a suite has run in production, so a team that added Cypress to one recent project and a team that has run it as the primary regression suite for years both qualify the same way. 14 of the 19 companies in this composition publish at least one case study, the only place such detail could appear as prose, and 5 of the 19 have none at all. Neither the frameworks field nor a case study is required to state suite size or suite age, so both figures stay unpublished across the composition. A buyer who needs either number for a support-cost estimate has to ask a shortlisted company for it directly, since no published field on this page carries it.
If our application code does not change, could a Cypress suite still start failing on its own?
Cypress runs its test code inside the browser process itself, and browsers update on their own schedule, outside the application team's control, so a suite can stop passing with nothing changed in the product under test. 5 of the 19 companies in this composition publish no engagement model at all, and even where a model is named, the field records the shape of the contract. It does not say who fixes a suite that breaks this way, or whether that work sits inside the original scope of work. Whether a company treats browser-driven breakage as covered maintenance or as new billable work is not something any field on this page distinguishes.
We are staying on Cypress. Is anyone on this page a Cypress specialist rather than a generalist who happens to list it?
Not by anything published here. Every company naming Cypress in this composition also names Selenium, 16 of the 19 also name Playwright, and the shortest framework list on this page holds four tools while the longest holds fifteen. All 19 therefore qualify for the Selenium ranking as well, which runs to 37 companies, so this page is a subset of that one rather than a separate pool of specialists. What the page narrows is the set of companies that say they can work in Cypress; it does not narrow to the ones that would put an engineer who works in it daily on the account.
Does carrying the Automation first tag mean a company's published automation result was produced in Cypress?
It does not. The condition behind that tag asks for test automation offered as a service together with at least one published case study reporting a coverage or regression time metric, and nothing in it ties the metric to a particular runner. The tag reaches 11 of the 19 companies here. Because every profile on this page also lists Selenium and most list Playwright as well, a coverage figure standing behind the tag can have come from work in any of them. The tag records that a company has published a measured automation result, and the tool behind that result stays outside the condition.

How to choose a vendor on this axis

Published by QA RatingPublished on September 3, 2026Updated on September 5, 2026

Every fact about a company comes from a listed source. A field without a source stays empty. A certificate counts as confirmed only when a registry, certificate or auditor report backs it; a certificate the company only claims about itself is published separately, under that label. Vendors can request a correction at hello@qa-rating.com. A correction is applied when it comes with a public source.
